Amit is the founder of Lighting Bot and also the key mentor. What makes Amit approach unique is how he brings his own experience, life style, education, careers and struggles into his mentorship. Amit has been QA Tester, QA Manager, Assistant Producer, Producer, Game Designer, Founder, 3D Designer and Senior Lighting Artist to name some game industry role. Furthermore, he has built game organizations and communities while investing in gaming cafe. Additionally, he has been teaching game development for over a decade as Assistant Professor ensuring over 4000 students are prepared not just for work or career but life as a whole. He also holds three different degree in Art, Education and Business which is supported by dozen of certificate such as project management and communication. Amit has worked on titles such as Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Gods Unchained and As Dusk Falls. He is currently Senior Lighting Artist at Interior Nights.
Sander Vander Meiren
Senior Lighting Artist
Sander Vander Meiren is also a guest mentor but also co-author of the course you go through. He has worked on titles such as Forza and Hogwart Legacy to name a few and currently works at Studio Gobo. Sander is highly passionate about PBR Realistic Lighting and was an important addition to the team to ensure the quality and content of this course was up to date and accurate. He is highly technical and also understands photography well.
Geoffroy Calis
Senior Lighting Artist
Geoffroy Calis is our guest mentor currently Senior Lighting Artist at Remedy Entertainment, previously EA DICE having worked on titles such as Battlefield, Hyperscape and Division. He is one of the guest mentors that is called upon to give a different perspective and insight to students having used multiple game engines for the last decade.
Sourabh Hamigi
Technical Lighting Artist
Sourabh is also a guest mentor and highly technical and able to develop his own photography game called “Grass on the other Side”. He has worked with Warner Brothers Games, Turn 10 Studios and currently as Firewalk Studios. He has worked on games such as Hogwarts Legacy and Forza Motorsport.,
Jeffy Zachariah
Freelance Cinematic Lighting Artist
Jeffy Zachariah is a guest mentor who put emphasis on cinematography lighting. He has worked on WAKE a shortfilm made in Unreal together with Tilt Labs. He is called upon to focus more on composition, framing, camera work, shot lighting and cinematography.
